Make sure you select the correct time zone
This year we have a very special event taking place at the American Legion just after the 4th of July parade. I've been in contact with the Dept. of Defense and the Wisconsin Air National Guard in order to procure a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter to come to Delafield and land on our baseball field right behind the Legion. That in itself, is quite an event. What makes this more exciting is that the pilot from the Wisconsin Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 147th Aviation will be my son, 1st Lieutenant Cory Roeber!!!
Once the rotors stop turning, the public is welcome to go up to the chopper and check it out. Cory and his co-pilot will be there for a couple of hours before taking off again to fly back to Madison. if you're looking for something to do on the 4th that's a little out of the ordinary, come on out and watch this happen.
The only thing preventing this from taking place is the weather. They won't fly in increment weather if there are a lot of people near the landing zone.
With vendor issues as well as not having a short order cook (to Apply Call Terry 262-646-7775.) We'll have a SPECIAL EVERY NIGHT instead of our full menu. APPETIZERS will be available as well as FRIDAY FISH FRY!
