Greetings Ladies,

It is time to mark our calendars. There is so many things coming up and we hope to see all of you at one function or another. Please read the whole letter to get your dates down.

There are several notes to pass on first. Linda Kuklinski will be continuing on as our Membership Committee. Thanks to Linda. The Executive Committee voted to purchase an Easter Bunny Costume at a discounted cost as the rental company was going out of business. Our Easter Egg Hunt was a great success. Many kids and lots of fun made for a very good day for our post. Our Auxiliary Picture Board is now up, but we will be making an additional one as time goes by. Those not on this one, be sure to get on the next. Our St. Patrick’s Day Dinner was well attended. Thanks to those volunteers that helped out. A leprechaun told me the corned beef was outstanding. Tacos continue to keep up at a very good pace. We expect it to grow as summer approaches. We need to fill several slots for the summer schedule so please contact Lori Knapp if you can help fill in.

Our spring dinner is right around the corner. On Monday, May 12th, our normal meeting night, there will be 6pm Cocktails and a 6:30pm Dinner. Please RSVP Beth Nuernberger at 262-844-9541 after 5pm or e-mail her at j.beth12@yahoo.com with your choice of dinner. Cost will be $18 per person and it includes taxes & tip. We will also be voting on officers at this meeting. We would love to see you there.

May 16th & 17th is Poppy time! We still have time slots open so please sign up with Lori Knapp to fill those slots. We want to break records this year.

On Memorial Day we will have a 10am service. We can be there for support.

Our 4th of July Parade is in full swing. Kelly already has many things taken care of. We want to have everyone in full force, as it is our post’s 85th Birthday Celebration as a Charter member. Talk to Kelly to see what needs to be done. Thanks Kelly for being a step ahead.

Saturday, September 6th is our date for a Legion Family Fundraiser. There will be bowling at Hartbrook Lanes and many things to follow. Please set this aside and get the word out. We would love to have this cover our out going expenses for bringing in the Traveling Wall October 16th – 20th. Start gathering items for raffles and silent auctions. All the little things help to make one big success. More will continue to follow on this.

As you can see, our auxiliary will be very busy in the approaching months. I can’t thank all of you enough for all of your time and effort that goes into these events. If anyone forgets to say thanks along the way please know that you are always appreciated.
